Division of Integrative Medicine-Integrative Medicine
Associates (IMA),
is a multi-disciplinary health
center with a philosophy based on the emerging understanding
of the relationship between health, body, and mind. We
believe the effect of combining conventional medicine
with complementary and alternative medicine provides the
fullest
level of care.
At
IMA, We Emphasize
evidence-based practice drawing on the
growing scientific research in the field of Complementary
and Alternative Medicine. Currently we offer traditional
acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, chiropractic, homeopathy,
guided imagery and psychotherapy. As we grow, other modalities
being added include general internal medicine, gynecology,
naturopathy, clinical nutrition, and massage therapy.
Our
Practitioners and Medical Director
meet regularly and work as a team to integrate
the strengths of different
therapeutic approaches. We recognize the importance of
working with our patients' primary care physicians whenever
possible in a collaborative, open atmosphere.
