The
Division of Psychotherapy and Human Sexuality Institute
The Division of Psychotherapy
recognizes the enormous influence of mind
and emotion on general health. Attention
to the emotional aspects of our lives has direct effects
on our bodies including our immune response, our digestive,
respiratory and other organ systems. We treat a range
of problems from anxiety and depression to couples and
relationship difficulties. Our therapists have a depth
of experience and are trained in a variety of psychotherapeutic
approaches including:
Short term problem focused therapy
Long term psychotherapy
Couples therapy
Couples group therapy
EMDR
Thought Field Therapy
Hypnosis
The
Human Sexuality Institute
is a specialized part of the Division of
Psychotherapy. Sexuality is an integral part of
human life. It influences how we think, feel, talk, move,
dress, relate to each other and involves a complex interplay
between physical, emotional, and social factors. In the
past thirty years sexuality and sexual functioning have
become
accepted fields of scientific study and treatment. The
Human Sexuality Institute focuses on helping individuals
and couples
resolve their sexual concerns through different kinds
of talk psychotherapy. We also have programs specifically
for sexual
addiction and compulsive sexual behavior. There are no
sexual relations or nudity in the sessions.
